Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are encouraged, but we also gladly accept walk-ins. We operate daily from 10am until sunset, seven days a week, depending on weather conditions. Please note that sunset times vary throughout the season!

Additionally, we provide a special sunset flight, available once per day as our final tour of the evening. There is no additional charge for the sunset flight; simply select a tour from our 14-mile ‘Miracle Strip’ or longer, and contact us to schedule your experience!

How many passengers can fly together?

Our Robinson R-44 helicopters can accommodate up to 3 passengers along with the pilot, provided that the combined weight of 2-3 passengers does not exceed 550 lbs. Each individual passenger must weigh less than 300 lbs.

Is there a weight limit?

We must comply with specific weight regulations established by Robinson, the manufacturer of our helicopters. Each seat in the R44 has a weight limit of 300 lbs, and the total group weight must not exceed 550 lbs. Prior to boarding, each passenger will be weighed at our front desk to determine the seating arrangement based on individual weights.

Please note, the total group weight limit may vary depending on the pilot and daily flight conditions. However, the per-seat weight limit of 300 lbs will always remain unchanged.

What is the age limit to fly as a passenger?

There is no age restriction for flying with us! Children aged 2 years and older must occupy their own seat and use a seatbelt according to federal regulations. Children under 2 years old may sit on the lap of an adult, provided that their combined weight with the adult does not exceed 300 lbs.

Can you fly in any type of weather?

Certain weather conditions may prohibit flight operations, including rain, lightning, fog, and high winds. Helicopter tours are weather-dependent. We will monitor the weather closely and contact you if there are any changes or cancellations due to weather conditions.  If you have any concerns regarding current weather conditions, feel free to contact us, and we’ll inform you about flight safety.

Do you offer flights for photography or other custom flights?

We’re delighted to arrange a photo flight for you. Just inform us of your preferred destination or specific subjects you wish to photograph. You can select from any of our 6 tours or opt for a custom flight. Our custom flight rate is $700 per hour in the R44. We’re here to assist you in capturing the ideal shot.

Can we take pictures and video in flight?

Absolutely! We strongly encourage you to do so. Remember to tag us on Facebook and Instagram!  We love to see what inspired you on your tour!

Can I pick my seat during the helicopter ride?

At our company, safety is paramount, and we prioritize the well-being of both our aircraft and passengers. Seating arrangements are carefully determined through precise weight and balance calculations. Our meticulous approach guarantees a safe and pleasant helicopter tour experience for everyone on board. If you have inquiries about seating arrangements, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for additional information. We are more than happy to address any specific questions you may have.

Do you sell single seats?

If you are interested in booking a single seat on one of our shared helicopter tours, please note that we can only accommodate this if there is open space and weight allowance available on the tour. We cannot guarantee the acceptance of a reservation for a specific date and time until at least two other seats have been booked for that same date and time. We appreciate your understanding in this matter, as we must ensure the safety of our passengers and the proper balance of our aircraft. If you have any further questions or would like to check availability for a shared tour, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Certainly! We offer gift certificates for purchase at our front desk. For those outside the local area, we are able to process payment over the phone and have the gift certificate sent to you via mail.

Do you offer custom flight destinations?

By all means! If there is something in particular you want to see, let us know. We can accommodate most requests depending on your scheduled timeframe.

Can you drop me off at my destination?

Sadly, we can not.  We must return to the point of departure and we are limited to a 25-mile radius.

Are your helicopters accessible for handicapped individuals?

We are equipped to assist most individuals with disabilities. Our flight crew is ready to aid in comfortably and securely seating them in the aircraft. While we strive to accommodate everyone, we retain the right to decline any individual who may pose a safety risk to our pilot or the flight. We suggest reaching out to us via phone to have a detailed conversation about the procedure, guaranteeing an enjoyable and safe experience for all.

Can you fly if you are drunk or under the influence?

We do not recommend it. We reserve the right to refuse any individual that we feel might threaten the safety of our pilot or the flight.

Do you offer discounts for members of the Military?

Present a valid Military ID to receive a $5 discount per person on the first 4 tours and a $10 discount per person on our top 3 tours. Use the codes MIL5 or MIL10 when booking online to avail of this offer. Please ensure you have a valid Military ID for verification at check-in.

What methods of payment are accepted?

For our tours, we accept both cash and credit card payments. We welcome all major credit cards and will charge your card at the time of booking. Please have your credit card details ready when securing your reservation. If you opt to pay in cash, we will still need a major credit card to hold your booking until the tour date. On the day of the tour, you must visit us in person to make the full cash payment. Kindly note that cash payments require an in-person visit for payment at least 72 hours before your scheduled tour.
